Collection: Larry Rogers

My first camera was a Kodak Brownie Starflash®, which I received as a birthday present at around age 8. Since then, I cannot recall a single day when I did not have a camera. I think I still have every photograph I have ever taken, including over 173,000 digital and approximately 10,000 film images.

I probably should have paid more attention to art class in school, but instead I focused on science and math. I majored in Electrical Engineering in college, then served in the United States Army, worked as a US government civilian employee, and most recently founded a small business in Ohio. I could tell you all about my corporate life, but the fact is I have never longed to be back in the oMice solving engineering problems, so I'll briefly tell you about my life as an artist instead.

Life has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams. I get to travel and photograph many of the most wild and beautiful places on earth. I have been blessed with a clear memory of most, if not all the images I have taken. So, I am on a journey to share not only my art but also the stories that go along with the capture of each image. You can read the stories behind many of my pictures in the description section of each listing.

The Thriving Artist Marketplace is an invitation-only group of deeply committed artisans, each of whom I consider a friend, and I am truly honored to exhibit my best work here.
