Collection: Joseph Metzler

Joseph first got serious about photography after taking photography classes in high school. However with the demands of his career as an architect, he found less and less time to devote to photography.

After the forced isolation of the pandemic, Joseph decided to step back from architecture and shortly after rediscovered his love of photography. He first started photographing again regionally around his home in Minneapolis. Before long he converted a cargo van into a RV so he could travel around the country in more comfort while visiting locations to photograph.

Joseph enjoys the rush of being in the right place at the right time to capture a fleeting moment, when sky, lighting, or composition, are just right and speaks to him. It’s an experience that never grows old.
