Hello, I'm Rick Vyrostko!

Born and raised in Canada’s Niagara Region and now based in Toronto, Ontario, I’ve been a passionate photographer for over 30 years. My work spans 48 countries (and growing), capturing the beauty of travel, landscapes, nature, and architecture. Photography is my way of connecting with the world, turning moments into vibrant, bold images that evoke curiosity and wonder.

Through my lens, I aim to inspire others by blending realism with artistic impression. My images are rich in detail and color, offering a dynamic pull that transports viewers into the scene. Whether it’s a glorious cityscape, a serene natural landscape, intricate architecture or the natural world, my goal is to spark conversations about these locations and encourage others to explore the world’s beauty.

I’m a proud graduate of the Photography Institute and an accredited member of the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) in Architecture and Nature. These achievements underscore my commitment to excellence and artistry in every photograph.

As a freelance photographer, I continue to pursue my local and global passions, working on diverse assignments and making my prints available to art lovers and travelers. My hope is that my work not only captures the wonder of our planet but inspires others to see it through a new lens.
