This city always had a special place in my heart, especially after I watched the movie “Only You” with Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr. – I literally fell in love with it. I knew that when I visited it for my first time (with my wife – the love of my life), I needed to capture as many great images of the city as I could to remember this magical trip.
With anticipation in my heart, I set out to capture the essence of Positano, Italy, a romantic paradise. I wanted to photograph the city from the water, nestled into the hills, its colored buildings shining brightly, and the gold-domed church adding to its charm. To achieve the perfect shot, I needed a boat, the right time of day, and the ideal distance and angle.
Morning light was essential, as it would bring out the vibrant colors and create intriguing shadows to highlight the town's depth. Determined, I embarked on my mission. The streets were alive with the aroma of pastries and espresso, adding to the excitement that filled the air.
After finding a boat, we set off. As we moved away from the shore, Positano unfolded before my eyes. The pastel buildings cascaded down the hills, and the azure waters shimmered with beauty.
