The Amalie Arena, home of the the Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey team!

I've been constantly asked for pictures of sports stadiums and until now had never gone out and shot these.

My dad is a huge sports fan, and hockey is one of his favorites. So last night at 11pm we got some rare father-son time and we drove to Tampa together, scouted various angles, and finally decided to get onto the roof of the parking garage! I had to climb a wall, and various other acrobatics and with my tripod fully extended, just made it over the top of the concrete barrier to this magnificent view!

The Lighting are doing great this year, and have a real chance at the Stanley Cup, let's hope they go all the way!

I shot this from the top of the Memorial Bridge in Clearwater that over looks the bay I grew up sailing and windsurfing on. This bay is my favorite place in the whole world.
