Bald Eagle Landing
Bald Eagle Landing in a tree with the Fall color leaves in Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood, Colorado.
This is a captive bird that I had the pleasure of getting to photograph. All the raptors at HawkQuest are non-releasable due to either imprinting or injuries. HawkQuest is a Colorado nonprofit that provides education on eagles, owls, falcons, and hawks.
I had the chance to photograph some beautiful birds in the fall colors, and I was determined to make the most of it. I knew that this was a rare opportunity to capture some amazing photos, and I didn't want to get home regretting whether they were not in focus, or my exposure was off.
As I approached the birds, I could feel the excitement building inside me. The smells of earth and pine filled my nostrils, and the sounds of rustling leaves and birds filled my ears. I was determined to get the best possible shots.
I worked hard to get the perfect composition and lighting, making sure to focus on the eyes of the birds. It was a learning experience for me, as I tried to capture these majestic creatures to the best of my ability.
In the end, I was able to get some truly stunning photos of these beautiful birds. It was an unforgettable experience, and I couldn't wait to share my photos with others and show off my skills as a photographer.
