As a landscape and wildlife photographer in Colorado, I had always dreamed of capturing the Denver city skyline during sunset. I knew of the perfect location at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and had been planning this shot for months.

The day finally arrived, and I set out early in the morning, determined to get the perfect shot. I knew it would be a challenging one, spanning several images stitched together to create a panoramic high resolution HDR photo. But I was up for the challenge.

The drive to the location was treacherous, with icy roads and several inches of snow that had just fallen. But my determination kept me going, and I finally arrived at the location just in time for sunset.

As I set up my equipment and began to take the first few shots, I couldn't help but take in the sights and smells of the Rocky Mountains. The crisp, clean air was refreshing and invigorating, and the snow-covered peaks loomed majestically in the background.

As I continued to snap photos, I could hear children sledding down the hillside in front of me and the honking of geese flying overhead. The sun was setting, and the sky was painted in beautiful shades of orange.

But as the cold of the Rocky Mountains began to seep into my bones, I realized that I had forgotten my gloves. My fingers were freezing, and I could feel them starting to numb. But I didn't let that stop me, as I knew this shot was too important. I pushed through the discomfort and continued to capture the stunning beauty of the Denver skyline in the background.

As the sun finally dipped below the horizon, I knew I had captured the perfect shot. This photo was not only a beautiful representation of the Rocky Mountains and the Denver city skyline, but it also represented my passion and dedication to photography. This shot was the first step in my journey to make photography my career, and I couldn't be prouder of it. Just look at the orange glow over Denver!

This is a panoramic that should be displayed in a large print.
