This beauty was perched on top of one of the many boat cradles.
Sleeping. Standing up. One leg. Kinda like me at work sometimes.
While his head was tucked down between his shoulders most of the time, I waited patiently for him to sneak a peek and pop up to have a look around!
Victory! I’m sure there was a dirty glance in my direction. The zoom lens allowed me to stay a little bit away so as not to disturb too much. I think this made me a little more tolerable. Hey, maybe that’s the trick with me sometimes.
I was just thankful to be able to get a shot from a few different angles of view, and chose this one because there were no distractions from the bird itself. Just a plain background to showcase this beautiful creature all on its own.
