Hi there! My name is Sandy Dobbs and I am a passionate landscape photographer. There are a handful of beautiful places on earth that I love to stand with my camera and watch the sunrise. This place is in the top 3 or 4 of those places. I have stood there many times, at different times of the day, with different light and different colors, and it always looks different. Yet - one thing always remains the same - it ALWAYS looks stunningly beautiful! On this particular morning I was blessed with a "morning light show", as it had been raining and it was cloudy, and when the sun came over the mountain behind me, it lit up the clouds and bathed the peak in a warm glow, which reflected back onto the water. The colors just last for a few moments, and then the light goes on about the business of daylight. But for a very short time - it was glorious! I captured the photo to save the moment and its view to share with you, and this is the black and white version.
