A pre-dawn alarm and a long drive to this spot was well rewarded with this gorgeous sky just before sunrise. For a period it was just the early rising fishermen and myself enjoying the solitude and peace. The rising sun backlit the clouds and painted gold, pink, and magenta reflections on the water. Talk about right place at the right time.... those reflections only lasted about five minutes, and they were gone! Soon the scene changed and brought another lovely yet different mood, but I felt really pleased to have captured this unique moment of that morning for us to enjoy forever.
