Hi there! My name is Sandy Dobbs and I am a passionate landscape photographer. This photo is an image of the incredible beauty in Glacier National Park. We were hiking up the side of Mt Rainier, and that is no small feat for someone from the plains of Texas! Making our way up the trail was a series of hiking a short distance and then stopping to catch our breath, because the elevation was steep. It was right at sunset, and the sun's glow was reflecting across the mountain, and my breath caught as I saw it bathing the Bear Grass a golden color. I captured the photo to save the moment and its view to share with you.
